- Who can join the trips organized by See-EU ?
The trips organized by See-EU are open for everyone. Many times, there is the larger chunk of participants from various countries from Asia but we have had many participants from almost all parts of the world. Until now we have had participation by people from more than 90 countries in our past trips. So you are all most welcomed to join any of our trips.
- What are the terms and conditions of joining See-EU trips?
When you are booking for our trips, it is mandatory that you accept our ‘terms and conditions’ which are mentioned at the following link > TERMS & CONDITIONS. Also, don’t forget to read our baggage & other regulations. Click here > BUS REGULATIONS
- How can I register for a trip ?
Registering for any of our trips is very easy. Just put the number of seats in your shopping cart, place the booking order by providing your details and make the bank transfer within 2 hours of booking.
- How can I register if I do not have a local bank account ?
We are coming up soon with online direct payment on our website. At the moment, there are two possibilities. One, you may ask any of your friends or colleagues who have a local or any European bank account to make the payment on your behalf and send us the screenshot of that transfer so that we can link the transfer with your booking. Two, you may go to any nearest bank or post office with our bank account details mentioned on ‘bank transfer’ option of payment and the payable amount and ask them to put that amount on our account. They do it for free usually. If none of the two possibilities work for you, contact us ASAP so that we can find a solution for you to pay. Note that after placing the booking order, you will be obliged to pay and in the lack of payment appropriate legal action may be taken to recover the whole due amount + 8% interest on the amount + costs incurred on recovery proceedings.
- What are the bank account details of See-EU ?
You can transfer the relevant amount to our bank account for any trip. The account holder is See-Globe BVBA, the name of the bank is ING, Swift/BIC code is BBRUBEBB and the account number is: BE87 3630 7099 9794. The address is mentioned at the bottom of our website.
- Can I pay on the day of journey itself on the bus ?
We strongly discourage this practice due to several reasons. Hence, please pay in advance and do not postpone it until the last moment. Note that after placing the booking order, you will be obliged to pay and in the lack of payment appropriate legal action may be taken to recover the whole due amount + 8% interest on the amount + costs incurred on recovery proceedings.
- Should I place a booking if I am not sure of joining yet ?
Certainly not ! Note that once you place a booking order with us, you become liable to pay the whole amount even if you are joining or not. So do not place a booking order until you are sure of joining and also ready to make the bank transfer within 2 hours of your booking order.
- When do I get confirmation of my booking for a trip ?
When you place a booking order, your places are already kept by our automatic reservation system, but you get the confirmation only when the transfer is received, which takes upto 2-3 working days. Hence, please do not start writing or calling us that you did not get confirmation, unless 2-3 working days are already passed from the day that you made the transfer. If the trip is starting in less than 3 working days, just send us the screenshot of your bank transfer by e-mail.
- What is the price and other rules about children ?
According to the EU regulations, each participant is required to have one seat in a bus even if it is a one day old infant. Therefore, for each trip, every individual is given a separate seat. Unless otherwise mentioned in the trip details, children below 3 years of age on the date of travel pay half price of the usual price for a trip. With this half ticket, the child gets a seat in the bus but no separate bed if there is overnight stay involved for a trip whereas full ticket entitles the child to get both a separate seat and bed during the trip. Note that the group leader may ask for a date of birth proof, if necessary. Note that you may take baby strollers in all of our trips.

We allot one boarding point in each city. Two conditions need to be fulfilled in order to add an extra city for boarding. You may inform us about the addition of a new pick-up point for a trip and we would surely add it if you fulfil these two conditions. Please do not ask us to add more than one boarding point from the same city.
- What are the rules on cancellation ?
Organizing a trip requires a lot of administration, reservations etc. Once you place a booking order, you are obliged to pay the whole amount. Since there are always a number of people on the waiting list for various trips, we discourage any last-minute cancellation. You must understand that organizing a trip needs planning, payments, booking of rooms, transport etc well in advance. If you want to cancel your reservation, just inform us by e-mail about it. If you cancel your reservation at least 5 days before the departure time of a trip, we will return the amount only if your place is taken by someone else. In this case also we would deduct 20% of the amount as administrative charges. There will be no refund of the amount if you cancel your reservation when the trip is departing in less than 5 days. On the other hand, if we cancel a trip due to less number of participants or any other reason, the total amount shall be refunded to you without deducting any charges.
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE JOURNEY & TRIP FACILITIES
- How are the seats allotted to participants ?
Sometimes we get many requests to allot front seats in the bus. The seats are allotted on first come, first get basis. Therefore, if you wish to have seat in the front rows of the bus, you will be required to register quickly. However, we leave it on the participants if they agree to exchange their seats with mutual consent. We do consider special requests to change the seats based on founded medical grounds. You have to send us founded proofs of medical necessity and not just the reasons like back pain, age or similar grounds. If getting front seats is your concern, book fast please and do not wait till the last days. Also understand that we cannot give everyone front seats and leave the back seats empty.
- How long is the journey ?
We plan our overnight trips in such a way that we reach our destination somewhere between 8 and 10 AM next day so that we can have the whole day for us to visit the city. We suggest you to check google maps for directions from our last pick-up point in Belgium to the city of arrival by road. You will see the distance in kilometers there. You can roughly calculate the journey time using the following formula: 100kms per hour + one or two breaks of about 45 minutes. This will indicate tentative journey time for a specific trip.
- How is the accommodation facility provided during the trips ?
The accommodation is usually provided on a shared basis. Most of the times we reserve rooms with 4-6 participants per room. This combination may however be different also. Note that the rooms are always with attached WC/showers in each room. While allotting the rooms to the participants, the group leader always considers the factors like gender combinations, family combinations and group combinations in mind so that the most convenient allotment of rooms is done. You may always inform us if you would like to share the rooms with specific participants. Unless it does not really disturb the whole allotment plan, the group leader always considers it.
- Can I reserve my separate room during the stay ?
We reserve rooms on a shared basis but indeed you can reserve a separate room for yourself. You just need to choose the lead passenger’s option with ‘Separate room’ and the remaining passengers with ‘shared’ option for room and mention about it in the message box given on the booking form. Note that the properties where we stay do not have too many separate rooms available so ideal is to register ASAP. We strongly suggest that if you are family or need complete privacy, ideal is to ask for a separate room.
- Do we get our rooms immediately after our arrival ?
We plan our itinerary in a way that we arrive in the morning hours at our destination in order to visit places during that day. Note that the usual check-in hours everywhere in Europe are between 12 and 3 PM and check-out time is between 10 and 12 AM. We always inform the hotels about our expected arrival timing and our preference to have early check-in and mostly are able to get rooms on arrival. However, it is possible only if the rooms are vacated by the visitors from the night before and are cleaned/prepared for us. If this is not the case, we drop the luggage in the locker room of the hotel, use public utilities to freshen up and leave to visit the tourist places planned for the day.
- Is food included in the price of the trips ?
We always offer light snacks on board during the first morning after departure which usually includes juice and a cake. Sometimes the hotels/hostels where we stay offer breakfast to groups. Apart from that, we do not offer any food during the trips. Some group leaders though arrange for dinner or lunch at some local restaurants which you can join. During the journey, participants can utilise the extensive menu of our on-board shop which offers many hot and cold drinks, snacks, chocolates, domestic and ready to eat hot meals served to you on reasonable price.
- What facilities do I get in the bus ?
We always take a comfortable bus which is equipped with air-conditioner, WC, DVD Player facilities. The seats are semi-sleeping class which are comparable with the economy class flight seats that you can bend a bit backwards in order to sleep. For your comfort we also have an on-board See-EU shop where you can many hot and cold drinks, snacks, chocolates, domestic and ready to eat hot meals (mainly Indian) on reasonable price.
- Is local public transport included in the price of the trips ?
No. We use the local public transport several times in order to make the group travel easier and economical and the cost is borne by the participants themselves. Participants should be fit to follow the group while roaming around at the destination.
- Who pays the tickets of monuments, cable cars etc. during a trip ?
All the entry tickets to monuments, museums, cable cars, other attractions are borne by the participants unless specifically announced by us in the information about the trip. However, it has been our experience that the tickets cost lot cheaper if we buy them as a group altogether. So it is always a good deal to visit places with the group itself and avail those benefits.
- Is there a guided tour during the visit to cities ?
There is always a group leader that accompanies each of our trips. We are not a tour and travel agency but a crowd sourced travel community being run by some volunteers. However, the tour leaders of See-EU are not tourist guides but they are well trained to manage a group travel as well as are equipped with information about all the main tourist attractions at the destination cities. For all our trips we plan a detailed itinerary to visit most of the tourist attractions and this itinerary is sent to registered participants 1-3 days in advance from the date of departure. Hence, when you go with us, the tour leader will take you around in a group to the most interesting tourist attractions. We would also make group reservations for different places to make it cheaper for everyone. If you would wish to visit the tourist attractions on your own, you will be free to do so. The group leader will inform you about the meeting point and time in this case.
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RETURN JOURNEY
- Is it possible to drop me at a different point than the boarding point ?
No. Many times some participants ask us to drop them on the way back since it would be closer from their residence or office. Please note that we cannot do that and do not embarrass us by asking about it. Due to several driving regulations we cannot ask the driver to stop anywhere except the pre-decided boarding and drop-off points.
- What if I forget some of my belongings in the bus ?
The bus is double-checked after all the passengers are gone, by us and by the bus company. So if anything is left in the bus by any passenger, either of us keeps it and you may always send us an e-mail to check about it and get it back. However, See-EU shall not be liable for any loss or theft of your belongings during your trips with us.
- Can I propose to organize a trip ?
Yes. We always welcome suggestions to visit new places in Europe. So if you know some interesting places we can visit, do inform us. If you are a group consisting of a substantial number of people who wish to visit some place with See-EU, you may also contact us with your query and we would be glad to offer a corporate trip only for your group.
- What if my question is not answered in FAQ ?
You can always write us at See-EU@live.be if your question is not answered here or if you have a suggestion to add more FAQs. Please do not write to ask questions which are clearly answered in FAQ. Only in case of emergencies, you may also call us at 0497 92 23 24. Please always write e-mail first if you have a question.
