Salzburg literally “salt castle”, is the fourth-largest city in Austria with views of the Eastern Alps. The birthplace of  Mozart and perfect place to tour the historic palaces & fortresses of Austria and one of its kind the trick fountains combining it with a cable car ride to the mighty Alps of Austria which gives stunning views of Salzburg. It was listed UNESCO World Heritage in 1996.

Hallstatt is such an unbelievably spectacular place that takes you to an adventure-packed journey back in the history that begins 7,000 years ago with the journey to the oldest salt mine on Earth. You will collect your own personal treasure trove of memories during your tour of the salt mine: In passageways lined by pure, shimmering, orangey-red rock salt, you will walk deep into the heart of the mountain. Allow yourself to be enchanted by the Barbara Chapel, sculpted completely out of rock salt, by the legendary salt-leaching chambers, and by the smooth-as-glass salt lake. Meanwhile, the youngsters are certain to fall in love with Sally. The clever little mine duck knows every nook and cranny here, and she’s always in the mood for fun!

DEADLINE: 17 October. Seats are allotted in the order of payments received and they may get fully booked before the deadline. So don’t wait until the last moment to confirm your place in the trip.

* Our exact pick-up points for each location above are explained in the FAQ section on our website. The timings mentioned above may be slightly altered depending on the participants joining from each pick-up location. Final timings shall be intimated to the registered participants in advance via email. Please note that if there are less than 5 participants from any location, you may be asked to board from nearest confirmed location.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

    1. Check always your Spam as well as other folders to find our emails, especially Gmail users.
    2. Saturday – In Salzburg, we will buy Salzburg Card for one day that includes all public transport, free entrance to all the attractions in Salzburg. This card costs 34€ per person above 15 years age, 17€ for children between 6 and 15 years age and free of charge for children below 6 years age. This price shall be automatically added to the total when you select the age option. For further details about Salzburg Card, click here. Note that the price of the card varies as per the dates of visit. We would visit the following attractions in Salzburg: Salzburg cruise, Funicular Train to Hohensalzburg, Mozart’s birthplace, Hellbrunn Palace & Trick Fountains, Hohensalzburg Fortress etc.
    3. Sunday – We will visit Salt Mines near Hallstatt which has many attractions for all age groups. In order to visit all these attractions, we need to make a reservation for tickets in advance for our group which can be done only during the week of the trip itself. The final price shall be communicated to the registered guests a few days in advance of the trip. Usually the ticket costs around 41€ per person older than 15 years, around 21€ for 4 to 15 years old kids, children younger than 4 years are not allowed inside the salt mines but they can enjoy all other attractions in supervision of one adult at least. If you are a couple with a child below 4 years of age and both want to visit the Salt Mine, you may take the guided tour after each other. See-EU TM shall guide you through all the activities for the second day to make the best use of your visit. We shall ask you to transfer the applicable ticket amount to See-EU bank account once our visit to these attractions is confirmed by the Salt Mines office. Disclaimer: We do not ask the payment in advance for any such activities which depend effectively on the weather conditions during our visit and are subject to the official confirmation by the local office during the week of the trip itself.
    4. All shared rooms that we offer in this trip shall have 4-5 persons (above the age of 3 years) occupancy and with attached toilet and bathroom inside the rooms. There is also free wi-fi available at the hotel. If you need separate room, you MUST select one seat with separate room option, add to cart and then select remaining seats in your group with shared room option. See our FAQs for detailed explanation on this. Note that we have a limited number of separate rooms only and are given on first come, first serve basis only. Note also that children below 3 years of age pay half price for the seat in the bus only and are not entitled to a separate bed in the hotel. As per European laws, we are obliged to provide a separate seat to everyone including a one day old toddler.
