Mont Saint-Michel is an island that has held strategic fortifications since ancient times, and since the 8th century AD has been the seat of the monastery from which it draws its name. Its unique position of being an island only 600 meters from land made it readily accessible on low tide to the many pilgrims to its abbey. An amazing location which is surrounded by the ocean during high tide but accessible via land during low tide. One of France’s most recognizable landmarks, Mont Saint-Michel and its bay are part of the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites and more than 3 million people visit it each year. *Our exact pick-up points for each location above are explained in the FAQ section on our website. The timings mentioned above may be slightly altered depending on the participants joining from each pick-up location. Final timings shall be intimated to the registered participants in advance via email. Antwerp & Mechelen will take place only if there are at least 3 participants joining from there, otherwise participants from there shall be informed 2-3 in advance to join at Brussels North Station.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

  1. Check always your Spam as well as other folders to find our emails, especially Gmail users.
  2. The accommodation provided by us during this trip is going to be all triple rooms (with three persons above 3 years of age in each room) without any extra charges. If you need a separate room of different occupancy for yourself, please choose at least one person in your booking with separate room option and the remaining with shared option (see FAQ for more details on this). Note that children below 3 years of age are allotted a separate seat in the bus but they are not considered for a separate bed at the hotel. Hence, if you are a couple with a child below 3 years of age and wish to have a separate room, choose one person with separate room option while booking.
  3. On Saturday we visit various attractions of Etretat and on Sunday we visit the magnificent Mont Saint Michel.
  4. Tentative return timings on Sunday evening – Brussels 9:30 – Gent 10:30 PM. Please note that during the return journey, participants from Antwerp & Mechelen shall be dropped at Brussels North Station also due to driving hours restraints. They can catch a train back to their locations from there.
